Online HigherEd Professional Opportunities from Home If you want to use your Higher Ed professional experience online, the first thing you should look for Higher Ed positions is by examining virtual schools and colleges that have online programs for openings. Many times these opportunities are just like working on campus but working virtual because students are not onsite.
I highly suggest you keep your eyes open for universities that are embracing online programs for students that require flexibility in the learning process. This will lead to more opportunities for online employment options for professionals like you. I keep up with listings for higher education professional by setting up alerts at Indeed.com, HigherEd Jobs, and Flexjobs. If you use the keyword area on these sites and browse by “remote,” “work from home,” “home office” along with “instructor,” “career services, or “admissions.” If you set up alerts the next time an online education job is listed, you will always be in the know.
