Remote Management Certificate Instructor at
Old Dominion University (Contract) 

• Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on operations practices, customer services and leadership with ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of all management curriculum and job aids.
• Facilitate online classroom training for registered students
• Supports and provides guidance to other internal SMEs, instructors, and administration on the delivery of training materials.
• Develops methods to transfer information and techniques from the training sessions to actual on-the-job performance.
• Designs, develops and customizes learning solutions including online curriculum as well as instructor-led guides using to the assigned design methodology.
• Supports online learning content within Learning Management System (LMS)
• Ensures course effectiveness is measured, reported and compared to expected results. Modifies training programs to meet the current needs of the program. Based on participant feedback.

Required Skills:

• Master’s degree in instructional design or related field
• Knowledge of training and development practices and methods, including needs assessment and/or instructional design
• Minimum of 5 years in mid to upper management positions
• Knowledge and skills in leadership and management development theories and practices
• Minimum of 2 years of facilitation and virtual training experience
• Minimum of 2 years of corporate training experience
• Ability to organize, management and lead multiple projects
• Knowledge and ability to provide performance coaching and recommended learning solutions
• Professional written and verbal communication skills, including group facilitation
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple Learning Management Systems including but limited to Canvas, Saki, Blackboard and Jubi.
• Adult training or educational program development and curriculum design experience

Notes:

• Phone interviews will be conducted during the middle of February.
• This is a contract position that pays 1500 per month 
• A Master Degree is required
