Remote Director of Marketing

Are you looking for a leadership marketing remote role? I have a new hot lead for you. MeetEdgar is looking for a Director of Marketing. MeetEdgar is a SaaS company with 25 employees all working remotely either in the US or Canada. They are looking for a leader in Marketing who can guide their strategy and help with growth. 

Things you should know about MeetEdgar:

• They are bootstrapped and profitable
• Doing $4 million ARR two and a half years after launch
• This opportunity is a large-scale online marketing position and not a sales positions 
• You will need to be a pro in strategy, project management, and people management.

Full Details:

• Work with their leadership team to fit marketing into our company-wide strategic plan, and ensure that marketing, product, and dev are all working towards the same goals
• Determine the goals, priorities, and strategic plan for marketing
• Run and improve department meetings 
• Mentor your team and help them do their best work
• Look for bottlenecks and inefficiencies in your department and find solutions
• Own your numbers - your team has individual areas of ownership, but at the end of the day, you’re responsible for growing our user base month over month
• Manage cross-department or more complex projects (your team will manage their ongoing tasks, but you will step in to head up bigger projects)
• Implement marketing work where needed (you’ve got the basic know-how to throw together a line of copy or whip up the occasional Canva graphic)
• Own marketing quality - You don’t need to stamp an official approval on every little thing, but you ARE the chief eyes and ears overseeing our marketing asset

Your Team:

• Two copywriters (one more focused on blog, one more focused on site/email)
• Designer
• Data/analytics pro
• Outreach/PR/partnerships specialist
• Developer/make-tech-things-happen-er
• Lead outreach (sort of like sales, but not)
• Part-time assistant
