Social Media Marketers (SMMs) for Go Social Experts work with a variety of client businesses to help promote, grow, and enhance their brand through digital marketing channels. While our SMMs may handle LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, or various email marketing programs, the bulk of our work revolves around Facebook – creating ads, targeting (and retargeting) audiences, and building a solid strategy for each customer.
A good SMM can come from a variety of backgrounds. It's not a one-size-fits-all job. Here's what we look for in a candidate:
Previous marketing experience of any kind helpful
Strong creative abilities in both writing and graphic design
Demonstrate an understanding of social media platforms
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
High attention to detail and ability to data entry information accurately
Self-motivated and able to stay on task
Willingness to learn and an independent work and learning style

Is this for real?
Short Answer: IT SURE IS! Long Answer: It really, really is. Usually when people hear 'work from home job' they immediately think SCAM. And most of the time, they're probably right. Do I get to work in my pajamas?
For sure. We love pajamas! But fair warning, we do the occasional Skype call and we can see you. If nothing else, keep a hair brush handy.
Do I need my own equipment?
It would be awful helpful if you did. While we may supply a few things here and there, depending on your specific job duties, at a bare minimum you'll need a computer, speedy internet service, and a phone where you can be reached.
What are the hours?
This is a full time, 40 hour a week position. But when those 40 hours are worked is pretty much up to you. There will be certain weekly meetings that you'll need to be available via phone/computer for, but aside from that, it's up to you how you split up your work time. The important thing is, the work gets done and our customers are happy!
What is the pay? Well, that sort of depends on you. Once we see your background, work requirements, and individual brand of awesomeness we'll be able to give you a better answer. But we are paid hourly, every two weeks.
